Computer science at Henan Normal University
Overview
Computer Science Department was established in 1984 and is one of the earliest computer departments in Henan province. At present, the department has two specialties: Computer Science and Communicative Engineering. There are two Mater’s degree granting points: Computer Software and Theory, and Theory of Curriculum and Teaching.Department have computer science and technology, communications engineering, network engineering, internet of things(IOT), computer science and technology (.Net), computer science and technology (Java), computer science and technology (network engineering direction) seven undergraduate.The college is noted for its meticulous scholarship, and has won many teaching results and scientific research prizes. During the recent years, about 20% of graduating students have been enrolled as Master’s degree candidates by scientific research institutes of CAS etc.
The college has a strong academic atmosphere and has set up close inter-collegiate cooperations of research and academic exchanges with several universities in Germany, Britain, and Canada etc.
Technical Credential and Proficiency Test spots of National Computer Software Majors are both situated here. At the same time, the college is in charge of organizing the examination work.

Since 2003, the published research more than 700 papers in the important publication or meeting at home and abroad. 11 papers collection of SCI ,More than 100 Papers Collection of EI ,Approved 1 invention patents ，37 utility model patents,and 7 items computer software copyright.
The collage actively developing foreign comminate activates. Since 2005 has five times exchange activities with University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt am Main.
in 2008 ,undertake the CRSSC – CWI – CGrC . In 2009 ,undertake the second collegiate programming contest in Henan province, , college undertake the GrCF2011 in 2011 .by doing these activity, improve the visibility for our collage .
